Symbolism

A symbol is an object, action or idea that represents something other than itself. The pictures I have used on my collage (final piece) have strong symbolism to how I feel when I am listening to music. I have found pictures that represent words like 'content, peaceful, happy, comfortable' and some others. The pictures hold emotional value to me as they depict ideas of me feeling safe and secure.
